Over the course of just a few years, Boston-based songwriter and educator Alexander Fatato has quietly carved a place for himself as one of the most promising musicians in the thriving New England indie rock scene.
Fatato definitely knows the power of a simple song done right., and the power of earnest and thoughtful sound.
His music draws upon a number of genres, with elements of ambient, folk, and occasional loose rock, offering a captivating intimacy while developing in a richer palette of emotions. Fatato's voice lends itself to a tender and fractured characteristic that makes it vulnerably enchanting.
In his compositions, there is a considered effort to find light within all things, as though a widened view on the possibility of strength, wonder and joy might allow more opportunities for these features to be revealed.
Fatato tours nationally and has released 5 albums as a leader: “Difficult Freedom”, “EP1”, “Wonderland”, “Settle Down”.
- Poetry -
Jen Lewis wanted to be a writer on and off since childhood. Reading, storytelling, haiku/free-form poetry, and journaling have been essential ways of processing life and expressing inner workings and reflections. In her words: “The power in words, to create magic, to connect and heal the artist and audience, is an alchemical process so worth the time and energy.”
