About: “A Letter to the Earth”

In 2024, Cuesta is releasing her debut album as a band leader, “A Letter to the Earth”, featuring Grammy winner Kris Davis on piano, Ben Solomon on saxophone, Max Ridley on bass, and Paulina Camou on vocals.

The album seeks to encourage a deeper awareness and understanding of the relationship we have with planet earth.

Through the electronic elements and free improv of the 6 songs, Ivanna aims to describe her admiration, feelings, and respect for planet earth and the beings that inhabit it, giving her album a unique and remarkable touch.

Ana Viveros

Presents: “Pale Blue Dot”, a poem by Carl Sagan

(Performing Act)

“My love of art-making and commitment to breaking through barriers guide my artistry and identity as I continue to grow.” – Ana Viveros

Ana Viveros grew up in a hub of storytelling and arts as a mode of connection. Whether it be acting, singing, or dancing, Viveros is her happiest when making ideas come to life and collaborating with others.

Born to a Mexican father and British mother, she has nurtured a love for various styles of music, dance, method, and overall process, with an unyielding curiosity and eagerness to create. Amidst her artistic journey, Viveros faced homelessness and life below the poverty line. Through this, her passion for acting and the arts grew into a lifeline. With her mind set on defying her circumstances, she applied to various universities for their BFA programs and was both thrilled and honored to receive several full ride offers.

Since then, Viveros has continued to rise to the occasion. Having performed in several productions at Boston Conservatory under the school's Presidential Scholarship and Inaugural Sutton Foster Award, while also performing in national professional setting.

Viveros will present her adaptation of “Pale Blue Dot”, the well know poem of Carl Sagan.

Her performance will, without a doubt, make us feel part of the story and impress upon everyone the significance of our role towards Earth.
