Internationally recognized harmonica player, SHANE SAGER is also a writer and educator.
In his early twenties Sager performed with Sting, and in 2019 he joined Sting’s touring band, going on to world tours with him for six years.
In his younger days he was influenced by a wide berth of music and musicians that fueled his curiosity , leading him to explore the likes of Stevie Wonder, Motown, Big Walter Horton, James Cotton, Paul deLay, and Boston based Mike Turk and Annie Raines.
His music masterfully bridges jazz and blues.
Sager performs and records with various acts and is about to release albums of his own.
An avid writer, he publishes on Substack and recently released his first harmonica book, ‘Beyond Breath’, with two more books in the pipeline.
